As we go into this busy Holiday season filled with lots of indulging in food and drinks, remember that in order to live as your best self, its key to have your health. There is nothing wrong with celebrating and enjoying yourself, but those in between times make sure you are taking care of you in the best way you can.
Don’t eat Christmas cookies for every meal every day, don’t indulge in drinking at every single holiday gathering. Evaluate the times when it’s worth and live in a balanced way.
One glass of wine and one cookie isn’t going to kill your goals, and it also allows you to still treat yourself. We don’t need four glasses of wine and four cookies every time to feel like we are enjoying ourselves. Don’t restrict yourself, but try to live in less overindulgence and in more balance.
Stay active! Don’t drop your workout goals or wait till January, starting now will help you keep focused in between the celebrations, and help your health from completing going off the rails during this Holiday season.
Keep realistic about your fitness goals, if you are more busy and have less time to workout, then modify your plan. 20-30 minutes of intentional exercise 3-5 times a week will add up huge in the long run. Any movement is good movement!
Make a plan now of your fitness schedule and hold yourself to it. Prioritize it just like you do the fun Holiday activities.
Make a plan now of your weekly meals that you can shop and prepare to keep the meals between the celebrations balanced and healthy.
It’s time to take care of your health NOW!
