As a parent sometimes we struggle with parenting. I mean what parent doesn’t.

There is no parenting guidebook, no how-to manual.

Your mind controls your actions, your mind controls your outcome a lot of time.

We are so bad about letting one error send us spiraling. I’m trying to teach Savannah that whenever she has an error to use it to her advantage.

To take that error and spin it, “yes, this happened, but I am a badass and I’ve got this”.

I tell myself this all the time, whenever I want to quit or give up. I tell myself that I can do this, I’ve done things harder than this.

When we do things, its important to push ourselves harder and further. So whenever we get into these moments where we feel hard and stuck, we can tell ourselves we can do this. We’ve done harder before.

How to get out of your rut:

Talk yourself up – If God was standing in front of you how would he talk about you. When you talk about yourself, talk to yourself like God is talking to you. “I’m a badass” “Nothing can stop you”.

Go for your dreams, live your life with no regrets. You have to do it every day. Rain or shine. You have to show up even when you don’t want to.

Our kids are capable of anything. We just need to give them the tools they need to succeed.
