When I was a little girl, I always dreamed of the life I could have. I dreamed of all of the magical things that could happen to me, I saw all of the magic in the world. Princesses, fairy tales, happily ever afters are all big dreams in the life of any little girl. It isn’t until you get older that you see the realities of the real world.
It isn’t easy growing up, it’s even harder growing up when you have a rocky family life and background. But, it’s the things that you hope of, the things that you dream of that can push you forward. Those dreams, hopes, goals, ambitions can pull you out of the darkest places.
At one point in my life, I hit rock bottom and it was a hard place to find myself. I still had the hopes of a life I had once dreamed of, and I used those hopes to drive me forward. I used my goals to push me out of the deepest place I had ever encountered.
What are your goals?
I believe that a life without goals, a life without ambitions, hopes, and dreams is pointless. Why do we just want to exist and coast through life? Don’t you want to see what you can make happen? Don’t you want to see who you can become and what you can accomplish?
I do, I have a fire inside of me that is never going to stop burning. I want to be the best me I can be, I want to be the best mother I can be, I want to help as many people as I can. For me, those goals and dreams are what make getting up in the morning worth it.
I don’t wake up every morning ready to go, ready to take on the day. Sometimes it’s hard, sometimes I just want to snooze that alarm and let myself take the day off. The fire inside of me will not let me take the day off, it drives me day in and day out to bring it.
If you’re reading this, this is me telling you to dig a little deeper. Push yourself day in and day out, strive to be the best you that you can be every day. This world needs more people like you, who will go the extra mile and crush their goals.
