I always want to be humble – no matter how far I go in this life.
I want to remain humble, I want to remain kind. I don’t ever want to stray from that.
Sometimes, we get to rise up higher than others and forget that and we need a reminder to come back down to Earth. Money doesn’t make you a better person, it is just a resource. Money is only a resource to do things with. I believe that if you are a good person and you are humble and kind, having more of that resource will just help you do a better job with that.
Sometimes we do things that we feel really bad about, something hurtful that we didn’t intend to do. I’m huge in communication, and huge in two words “I’m sorry”. Whenever I hurt someone, I apologize a million times. I don’t want to hurt anyone, I feel so bad. The moral is always to be the bigger person.
This last week I felt so much joy and peace, it brought me back down to what is truly important to me. I had been losing sleep over what someone said to me, really letting it get to me. Then I went on my trip, and it filled me with so much gratitude and joy. I needed that reminder, I needed to remember that a good friend doesn’t want you to feel terrible. Anyone in your life that is rooting for you will support you, and only want the best for you.
Getting to go on my trip brought me back to down Earth, it made me realize that I was okay with where things were at. I realized that the people that truly matter, the people who love you will be there rooting for you. God has the plan, and he knows what the plan is.
Sometimes it is okay to not have the other conversation with a friend who hurt you. It is okay not to argue, it’s okay to just let things be.
If you’re at peace with yourself, that’s what truly matters. You have to stay true to your heart, and who you want to be.
Just remember, no matter where you are in your life or how much success you have, don’t let it change your kindness, your heart, and soul. Stay true to who you are.
