I used to think life just… happened to me.
That good seasons were luck.
That bad ones were just something to survive.
That other people somehow had “better circumstances.”
But the more I’ve lived, the more I’ve paid attention, the more I’ve realized something uncomfortable—but powerful:
The energy you put out is often exactly what comes back to you.
And no, I’m not talking about toxic positivity or pretending everything is perfect.
I’m talking about the way you show up—your mindset, your attitude, your expectations, your willingness (or unwillingness) to grow.
You Don’t Attract What You Want
You Attract What You Are
If you constantly expect disappointment, you’ll find it.
If you walk into every situation guarded, assuming the worst, people feel that.
If you believe nothing ever works out for you, you’ll subconsciously prove yourself right.
Not because the universe is punishing you…
But because your energy shapes:
- The way you speak
- The way you react
- The risks you take (or avoid)
- The people you allow into your life
And all of that creates your reality.
Your Energy Is Loud—Even When You’re Silent
You don’t have to say a word for people to feel you.
They can feel:
- Bitterness
- Insecurity
- Confidence
- Peace
- Chaos
You’ve been around someone before and just felt drained, right?
Or the opposite—someone who made you feel lighter just by being around them.
That’s energy.
And whether you realize it or not…
you’re putting that out into the world every single day.
The Hard Truth
If you keep attracting the same kind of people…
the same problems…
the same patterns…
At some point, you have to ask:
“What am I contributing to this?”
That’s not blame.
That’s ownership.
Because once you own it—you can change it.
Changing Your Energy Changes Everything
You don’t have to overhaul your life overnight.
It starts small.
- Speaking to yourself differently
- Letting go of constant negativity
- Setting boundaries instead of people-pleasing
- Choosing growth instead of staying comfortable
- Taking responsibility instead of making excuses
When you shift internally, your external world has no choice but to follow.
Different energy → different decisions → different results → different life
You Don’t Have to Be Perfect—Just Intentional
Some days you’re going to feel off.
Some days life is going to hit hard.
That’s normal.
But there’s a difference between:
- Feeling something
and - Living in it permanently
You’re allowed to have bad days.
Just don’t unpack and live there.
Pay attention to what keeps showing up in your life.
That’s not coincidence.
That’s feedback.
And the moment you realize that your energy is part of the equation…
That’s the moment you stop feeling stuck
and start taking your power back.
