If you keep running into pigeons, it means you are flying too low.
You can tell where you are at in life based on who you keep meeting. Gossipy people, complaining people, unhappy people.
You are at the wrong altitude. You can tell how low you’re flying by the people you keep attracting.
Jesus knew that he was stuck with his family, but he could choose his friends.
He selected his friends based on his vision. He chose his association based on his destination.
That is the way that you need to live.
If you are going to fly at a certain level, you need to meet people at that level. People that can help you fly higher and soar to that level.
God wants you to do great things in your life, but you would never leave the pack. If you show me your friends I can show you your future.
Eagles do not fly with other birds, when you are a leader you’re not comfortable with those who don’t dream big. You aren’t comfortable with complainers and critics.
This is why the Bible says if you are going to be great, you cannot get comfortable with those who are not going to be great. So – choose your friends based on your destination.
Ask yourself, where is it that you want to be? Take a look around at the people surrounding you and see if you would be happy if you were stuck where they are.
The greatest gift that God ever gave man was not the gift of sight, but the gift of vision. Sight is a function of the eyes, vision is a function of the heart.
God never intended for you to live by your eyes. He intended for you to live by your vision. Vision is limited only by your imagination. That is why you must walk by fate and not by sight.
Sight restricts you to the present, but vision releases you to the uncharted frontiers of the entire future.
Do not become so focused on your past that you cannot create a future.
You are not born to live in the past.
