There are seasons in life that feel like they’re never going to end.
The heavy ones.
The confusing ones.
The ones where everything feels off, uncertain, or just… hard.
And in those moments, it’s easy to convince yourself that this is just how life is now. That this feeling—this stress, this sadness, this frustration—is permanent.
But it’s not.
It never is.
You’re Just In A Chapter, Not The Whole Story
When you’re in the middle of something hard, your perspective shrinks.
You stop thinking long-term.
You stop seeing possibilities.
You start surviving instead of living.
And suddenly, a bad week feels like a bad life.
But if you zoom out—really zoom out—you’ll see something different.
Every difficult season you’ve ever been through before?
You got through it.
Even the ones you thought might break you.
Even the ones that changed you.
You’re still here.
And that matters more than you give yourself credit for.
Growth Doesn’t Feel Good While It’s Happening
Nobody talks about this enough.
Growth isn’t always empowering or exciting.
Sometimes it feels like loss.
Sometimes it feels like confusion.
Sometimes it feels like everything is falling apart.
Because in a way… it is.
Old versions of you are breaking down.
Old patterns are being challenged.
Old comfort zones are no longer working.
And that space in between—where you’re not who you used to be, but not yet who you’re becoming—that’s the hardest place to sit.
But it’s also where everything changes.
You Don’t Need To Have It All Figured Out
There’s this pressure to “fix it” immediately.
To find the answer.
To make the perfect decision.
To get back on track as fast as possible.
But sometimes the strongest thing you can do isn’t solving the problem.
It’s staying.
Staying present.
Staying patient.
Staying committed to moving forward—even if it’s slow, messy, and uncertain.
You don’t need clarity for the next five years.
You just need enough courage for the next step.
Keep Going (Even When It Feels Pointless)
There will be days where it feels like nothing you’re doing is working.
Days where you’re tired.
Days where you question everything.
Days where quitting feels easier than continuing.
And those are the exact days that matter the most.
Because consistency isn’t built on the easy days.
It’s built on the ones where you don’t feel like it.
You don’t need to be perfect right now.
You don’t need to be motivated.
You just need to keep showing up.
Even if it’s at 50%.
Even if it’s messy.
Even if it’s just doing the bare minimum.
Forward is forward.
One Day, This Will Make Sense
Right now, it might feel random.
Unfair.
Frustrating.
Pointless.
But one day, you’ll look back and see the connection.
You’ll see how this moment shaped you.
How it forced you to grow.
How it made you stronger, clearer, and more grounded.
Not because it was easy.
But because you didn’t give up.
If You’re In It Right Now…
Take a breath.
You’re not behind.
You’re not broken.
You’re not stuck forever.
You’re just in a hard season.
And hard seasons end.
So keep going.
Keep showing up.
Keep trusting that something better is on the other side of this.
Even if you can’t see it yet.

THANK YOU, SADIE!
Thank you for posting this!
It is exactly what I needed today! I am, right now, in one of my hardest ever seasons!!!
It is SO GOOD to be reminded that it is temporary. <3
